Welcome to the Group Data Management Office (GDMO) team. We add value by continuous learning, we are on a mission of simplifying and transforming our business and IT landscape.. As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll play a valuable role in building our next core data platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and manage the test process within our continuous delivery environment
- Automate test processes where possible, make it robust and easy to maintain
- Work closely with Development, DevOps and Product Management teams in a Continuous Delivery environment
You’ll join a team where you’ll have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a key part of designing and building Nordea’s next core data platforms. The role is based in Gdynia or Helsinki.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Are a natural in navigating in a complex environment within the Big Data or Data Warehouse area and a data driven thinker
- Have an experience in one of the Test Automation frameworks, such as Robot Framework, HP UFT, Fitnesse or TFS
- Have hands on experience with the following tools: Jenkins or Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git/Stash
- Have an experience in one or nore of the following languages: Python, Bash or SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English
Knowledge about following is a plus:
- Continuous Integration
- Knowledge of Big Data concepts, such as Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera/MapR) including streaming technologies
- Proficiency in managing automated functional and non-functional testing on a large-scale data infrastructure
- Solid grounding in Financial Service
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate
