ABOUT CLIENT
The Swedish company is a provider of services and services for telecommunications operators around the world. It has branches in 175 countries. The companys products include:
- fixed and mobile network infrastructure,
- broadband internet,
- multimedia solutions.
Teams are dispersed, employees and associates work in different time zones. All communication is in English.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement automatic user testing based on BDD, SpecFlow and Selenium components. Typical activities during implementation single test case.
- Support for Product Owner and Scrum Team in defining Acceptance Criteria for User Stories and translating them into BDD.
- Support for E2E Solution Architect in defining testing principles, guidelines, documentation & reporting templates.
- Promoting automated/continuous testing culture in development teams (hands-on, trainings, knowledge share, workshops, etc.).
- Optimization of testing processes and tools.
- Ensure governance – verification if development teams & testers follow agreed rules.
- Support and participation in test execution (environment setup, test data preparation, etc.).
- Self-education about latest trends in software testing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Soft skills: communication, curiosity, leadership.
- Experience of testing in Agile Scrum methodology.
- Practical experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, SpecFlow, Appium).
- Practical usage of testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, Octane ALM, JIRA).
- Strong understanding of Specification By Example methodology.
- Practical experience in implementing BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
- Knowledge of Defect Management process (including tools like JIRA).
- Basic experience with Performance/Load/Stress testing including tools (JMeter, HP LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of Unit Testing & TDD (Test Driven Development).
- ISTQB Certified Tester certification (nice to have).
- Basic programming skills in one of languages (C#, JavaScript, Java).
- Knowledge of DevOps principles (CI/CD/CT).
- Working with international teams in various time zones.
