Data Analyst / Signal Processing Engineer
Salary: 700-800 PLN net + VAT / day, B2B (depending on experience and skills)
Responsibilities:
- Develop scripts to build a dataset of artificially distorted speech recordings (e.g., noise, reverberation) by batch processing existing, clean speech recordings
- Perform statistical analyses of features derived from clean vs distorted recordings, in order to quantify the sensitivity of different speech features to distortions
- Apply speech enhancement algorithms on distorted recordings, and quantify the benefit of such enhancement in terms of feature stability
- In collaboration with the Data Analysis team within pREDi Digital Biomarkers, discuss findings, document results and establish appropriate thresholds for distortions in speech signals
Requirements:
- University degree (B.Sc. or higher) in computer science, engineering, statistics or related field
- Experience with building, organizing and processing datasets (audio data)
- Experience with statistical analysis
- Good knowledge of Python and shell (Bash) scripting, pandas is a plus
