Data Analyst

Location: remote

• Use existing speech recordings from various studies to assemble a dataset that is representative of patients speech in a given disease area, e.g., in terms of demographic, clinical and acoustic characteristics
• Select, instruct and work with a third-party transcription service to produce high-quality, manual transcriptions of speech recordings in the above dataset
• Train/adapt different commercially available speech recognition solutions, using a subset of the manually transcribed data. Where necessary, develop text processing scripts to ensure that manual transcriptions are in the format that is needed to train the speech recognition system(s)

• Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• Experience with building, organizing and processing large corpora (audio and text data)
• Experience with automatic text processing and analysis (e.g., natural language processing)
• Experience with statistical analysis, and best practices for training Machine Learning models (e.g., training/testing/validation sets) is a plus
