IT assistant in Service Desk/ Information Fusion Centre

For our client, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, we are looking for candidates for the following position:

IT assistant in Service Desk/ Information Fusion Centre
Location: Warszawa, Śródmieście
Reference Number: IT/A/FRO/2022
Key responsibilities of the position:
  • First point of contact for internal and external user and stakeholders for their enquiries, responding requests for information and documentation whilst exercising tact, discretion and confidentiality.
  • To diagnose, log and resolve incidents and/or service requests whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands.
  • To liaise closely with product development team and IT on problems reported to the Service Desk which require action.
  • Assist users in the process of requesting access to JORA and FOSS
  • Processing requests for EFS services from Member State authorities and internal stakeholders
  • Report issues and handle request for improvement of the applications/platforms in cooperation with the product development teams
  • Inform stakeholders (member states authorities, third countries, other departments) on any changes regarding the functionality of the applications/platforms
  • Create, publish, maintain and update support documentation (user manuals/guides, training materials etc.)
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Team Leader


  • Education: successfully completed secondary education related to the business needs, IT area preferred.
  • Work experience: at least 2 year of professional experience in the specific area depending on the business needs.
  • Computer skills: very good skills in the main MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Language skills: very good command of both written and spoken English (at least B2) / knowledge of additional EU language
