Project Description:
Fintech company with branches in Denmark and Poland. As an IT partner for a wide range of banks and other parties in Denmarks financial industry, we create financial solutions for 20-30 % of the Danish bank customers. We make it possible for them to check their account online, take out loans, and transfer money. In other words, everything it takes to run a bank.
Project: Produce data integration from from core systems (Customer, Accounting, Bookkepping, transactions) to business systems (AML, CEM,etc. systems).
Tech stack: Mainframe, Java, Kafka,
Tools: Jira, Confluence
Team structure: 12 in team incl PO and SM, 30 in the department divided into 3 teams, working in SAFe setup
Responsibilities
- Ensure prioritization of tasks and assignment to team members within the development and maintenance areas.
- Responsible for a constructive Stakeholder dialogue. The PO is acting on behalf of stakeholders and customers in BEC.
- The PO will be part of a product management team together with the Product Manager and the other PO members of the ART (Agile Release Train).
- PO will be in a close working relationship with the team scrum master and the other agile roles as well as with the Department Manager in the area.
- Active follow up on backlog, so it reflects the actual prioritization and the need of our customers.
- Define user stories in corporation with the team, as well as sparring on actual cases and tasks.
- Responsible for the team financials for development tasks as well as for maintenance tasks.
- Follow the market development in financial sector for the area in question and participation in sector work.
- Sparring with customers regarding the strategic development within the area in question.
- Define solutions with focus on the overall strategies and based upon the dialogues with customers.
Skills
- Bachelor or master degree or similar education based upon experience from a financial institution or a Datacenter / software company.
- Experience from the financial sector
- PO experience
- Ability to translate high level demands to actual user stories
- Economical overview
- Strategic mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Data analysis and data modelling knowledge is an advantage.
