The project team closely works with one of the biggest international investment banks. The project is devoted to the structured credit products management. Regular duties will include developing few core banking systems. The project allows dealing with complex enterprise applications and systems in global environment with stakeholders from all over the world.
The team consist of 8 people, and we plan to grow to 10-12 in 2021. We maintain and develop 3 existing apps of medium scale.
System changes management
o analyze and document requirements for changes in environment and data flows (e.g. environment migration to cloud, virtualization, system upgrades)
o identify areas for improvement in either business processes or the system
o perform high level analysis to define the scope of incoming project requests
o communicate with bank management stakeholders to prioritize and plan projects
o estimate efforts required for change implementation
o design and track project milestones
o co-operate with QA manager on change test strategies and plans
o closely track and address broken assumptions (agree extra funding, phase the delivery or delay/advance a certain delivery to fit overall portfolio constraints)
o keep the track of the risk register and work with both the delivery team and the client to prepare mitigation strategies
o in case of risk actually happening create and agree with all stakeholders alternative/exceptions plans
Incident management:
o overview the process of troubleshooting, reporting, resolution of incidents
o participate in the investigation and resolution of incidents and prioritize resolution actions
Release management
o plan releases according to book of work
o communicate with production team on release plans
o sign-offs collection from impacted stakeholders
o check and approve release instructions
- Experience in System or Business analysis 3+ year
- Good understanding operational systems, their requirements, pros and cons
- Ability to use SQL to query data from Oracle, PostgreSQL and MS SQL databases
- Good communication skills English level to work with clients and stakeholders from all over the world
