Responsibilities:
- Data preparation and management
- Managing the production of mapping/GIS/point cloud deliverables
- Contributing to the ongoing development of GIS processes and providing innovative solutions to align GIS with business outcomes
- Ensuring quality assurance procedures are implemented and undertaking QA verification of calculations and mapping products

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Essential
- Have knowledge and practical experience of using common GIS platforms, including administrative experience of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (including 10.x/Pro and associated modules)
- Have knowledge and practice experience of using Bentley platform (MicroStation Connect Edition) and extension for processing point cloud (for example TerraSolid TopoDot etc)
- Proficient in using MS Products (Excel, Access)
- Experience in the use of ModelBuilder, ArcPy and geoprocessing tools to automate tasks
- Able to work on their own and with the wider GIS/project team based in multiple locations
- Have good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Exemplary focus, ambition and attention to detail
Desirable
- Exposure to other desktop GIS software (e.g. FME, MapInfo, QGIS, GRASS)
- Experience in database programming including SQL
- A degree qualification in GIS or a related field where GIS skills have been developed (a relevant MSc would be desirable but not essential
