Project Description:
"Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Governance" department creates a brand new team in Poland (3 system engineers) who will:
- Drive and extend monitoring and capacity management inside area across platforms (in collaboration with platform owners)
- Drive and enhance systems support of automated testing inside area across platforms and solutions (in collaboration with platform and solution owners as well as areas TQM)
- Establish and enhance CI/CD automation inside area across platforms (in collaboration with platform owners)
- Partake in optimization of existing and new solutions (in collaborations with solution owners inside and outside BEC)
- Drive problem management (root-cause analysis and resolution) inside area (in collaboration with platform and solution owners)
- Provide clarity on overall platform and solution status inside area across incidents, patching, capacity and more (in collaboration with platform and solution owners)
Responsibilities
- Have a proven and documented experience in systems engineering / administration
- Engineering / administration experience with several of technologies below:
- On-premise: IBM Netezza, MSSQL Server, Informatica Powercenter, SAS Analytics, SAP Business Objects
- Cloud: MS Azure, Azure Data Factory, MS Synapse
- Ability to communicate (in English) with stakeholders inside and outside area - both technical and business resources
- Experience with code (NZSQL, MSSQL, SAS) and platform optimization
- Thorough understanding of development, operations and devops processes (ITIL or other)
- Are willing to assume responsibility and drive your responsibilities forward
- Experience with CI/CD automation and tooling
- Experience with test automation and tooling
- With colleagues in teams distributed across Denmark and Poland, you must master English at a high level both in writing and orally. Also, you must expect some degree of travelling, in particular during the startup phase.
